Save the Date - Farm to Table Dinner

Family Dinner Night

Wednesday, February 19th the PTO will sponsor Family Dinner Night at Tropical Smoothie (Port Road Location) from 5pm-7pm. Come out to support our PTO and enjoy fresh food and smoothies. Mention Peak View at the checkout. Information flyer:

International and Art Night

Our International and Art Night at PKVES will be Thursday, March 5th. We are looking for families that would be willing to share their traditions and food of a country they are from (or lived in) with the families at Peak View. If you are interested in making a display, participating or making a dish, please return the form sent home last week. Our PTO is providing a free spaghetti dinner. We hope all PKVES families will come and celebrate diversity in our community.

Boxtops for Education

It's time to turn in Boxtops for Education. Make sure you are scanning your receipts with the Box Tops Mobile App. If you cut them out, make sure they have not expired and that you package them in bags of 50. Please click this link for more info:

Food Drive for Pioneer Backpack Program

We will have our annual Food Drive February 10th - 21st. If we are able to pack the stage we will have a school-wide celebration. Specific items are needed. Please click this link for a list of foods for each grade level. Click this link:

Nurse's Clothes Closet -- is in NEED!

The Nurse's clothes closet is in need of boys pants size Youth Medium/Large or size Youth 10-12. Sweatpants or pants with elastic waist bands are preferred. If you have some to donate, please send them to school with your child or drop them off in the office. Thanks!

February is Reading Month:

Our theme is an Author Study of Patricia Polacco. She wrote books such as:

Thunder Cake, Thank You, Mr. Falker and Mr. Lincoln's Way and more. Please encourage reading at home, as we read several books aloud during February from this author. If you have any Patricia Polacco books at home you would like to lend us for February, please notify Mrs. Harter in the library.
