It's amazing to think that we are almost at the end of November! We look forward to a fun week ahed of the holiday weekend!
Special Thanks
Last week, we had a fantastic STEAM Night. Thank you to Mrs. Jurkowich and Mrs. Kanaval for planning such a fun night of learning for BAS Students! Another thank you to all the parent volunteers who supported classroom activities.
Thank you to Mrs. Rappa and all parent volunteers who supported Friday afternoon's pretzel sales. We were fortunate to have such a beautiful afternoon!
Thank you to Mrs. Heiss and Mrs. Buonaspina for coordinating a successful Thanksgiving Food Drive for Cranford Family Cares. We also send thanks to all the families who supported the drive with donations.

Arrival/Dismissal Reminders
We recognize that Albany Avenue becomes crowded. Please keep the following in mind:
- Along Albany Avenue, please do not K-turn. Go to the end of the street and make the left to go around the block.
- Do not park and exit your vehicle in the drop off zone. If your child/children need assistance exiting the car, please pull to the end of the road.

We love having your children at school! Regular attendance is important for students' academic and social development. As long as students are healthy, they should attend school..
Reporting Tardies/Absences
When reporting a student tardy/absent please notify the school by emailing basattendance@cranfordschools.org. If you are unable to send an email, please call 908-709-6973.
SEL Calendar

What is the CFEE (Cranford Fund for Educational Excellence)?
Started nearly 30 years ago by members of the community interested in supporting innovative educational initiatives in the Cranford Schools, the Cranford Fund for Educational Excellence has awarded more than $325,000 in supplemental funding for educational grants that empower our teachers and impact our students. These grants support ideas that are aligned with the goals and focus areas of the district schools, but are outside the scope of the regular school budget. Please click here for details.
