Lions Park Paw Prints

Letter from the PTO Co-Presidents

Dear Lions Park Families,

It is hard to believe that we are into the 3rd trimester. The PTO has been busy planning and hosting many in person events. We were able to have Valentine’s Day parties last month, and the kids had lots of fun. Thank you to all the room reps for volunteering and making the day extra special. The PTO hosted a paint night last Friday for 5th graders that was a huge success, and will be hosting one tonight for 2nd-4th graders. We look forward to seeing your masterpieces.

The PTO is excited to bring back the STEM Fair to Lions Park this year. We are thrilled to be able to host this event in person. Thank you to all the students who have signed up to participate in this event. We can’t wait to see what amazing things you showcase. The STEM Fair will be held on Tuesday March 15. The STEM Fair is only for students who signed up to do a project. Thank you to Natalie Kronforst for volunteering to put this event together.

We are thrilled to be able to hold the Pawlooza again this year and it will be in person. The talent show will be held in late April and will be open to all students at Lions Park. More details will be coming out soon!

The PTO is looking for volunteers for the 2022-23 school year. Our board will have openings for a co-president, co- vice president, treasurer, and secretary next year. We are always looking for new faces to come join us. If you are interested in a board position or chairing a committee next year, please reach out to Mallory Reyes or Monica Janiczek. We look forward to working together with you!
