Falcon Choir Newsletter

September 2018

From the Director

Greetings Falcon Choir Family!

It is always exciting to start a new year, but I am particularly excited to be working with this group of students. We have about 170 students 6th-8th grade. Many are returning with talent and experience to strengthen the program. Some are brand new bringing fresh energy and perspective.

This newsletter will be an way to keep up with upcoming events, requirements, and accomplishments of the Falcon Choir. As always, feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

All the Best,

Emily Hatzel

Falcon Choir Director

  • Handbook - expect a signed handbook agreement form next week
  • Remind - please sign up for choir Remind texts with the instructions on the website
  • Calendar - you can sync the google calendar found on the bottom of the choir's main page to your own google calendar so you can receive real time updates

Please sign and return...

Tuesday Sept. 4 students received a "Student Summary" from their "Charms" account. Charms is an organization system for our choir program. The following information needs to be accurate for our use.

  • Student email
  • Student t-shirt size
  • Parent email (please include one for EVERY parent who should be receiving emails related to Falcon Choir

If the information is accurate, please sign and return. If not, make corrections on the document before signing and returning. These are due by Friday Sept. 7.

Falcon Choir T-Shirts - $10 -

All Falcon Choir students are required to purchase a t-shirt for performances and events. The shirt is $10. The design has not changed from last year, so if your student already owns one that fits and is in good condition, there is no need to purchase another.
