A Message from Lisa
I hope you are all finding time to breathe and enjoy your students during these last few weeks! We are in the home stretch!
Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help with Materials Distribution on Wednesday and Thursday. Please wear a purple Powell shirt and plan to arrive ten minutes before you are scheduled to work. Come to the gym when you arrive.
Please continue to check-in through the SSO "COVID-19 Check-In" when you are working at school. After you check-in, you will receive an email with instructions to follow for when you are leaving.
Our next Zoom Faculty Meeting will be Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 1:00.
Enjoy your weekend!

Dreambox Resources
DreamBox has put together some great resources which are compiled in the Smore Link. Save this link and take time to check out the videos. I recommend The DreamBox Remote learning guide. You have access to fantastic data to share with parents during your conferences.

Grading Considerations
Grading and Report Cards for the 4th Grading Period
- Grades recorded during the 4th nine-weeks will not have a negative impact on a student’s average or grade point average. The 4th Nine-week grade will not be lower than third nine-week grade. Technology will adjust this. You do not need to manually adjust.
- Kindergarten Teachers will manually input standards based report card as usual.
- Student attendance and conduct have been removed.
- All campuses will mail report cards home for each student.
- The Report Card Timing Schedule HAS NOT been adjusted.

GT Maintenance Hours
It is required that each school year you maintain your GT certification with 6 maintenance hours. Please login to Eduphoria for online GT workshop opportunities.
TAGT Flier with the new registration code is attached. This is an online option to earn up to 6 hours of GT credit.
We have been granted permission from the State to allow teachers the ability to work on their 2020-2021 GT 6 hour updates with the following criteria:
- Must have completed 2019-2020 requirement first before working on 2020-2021 requirement.
- This permission is only available for the 2020-2021 school year.
- Enroll for any online training in Eduphoria under the courses marked 2020-2021
- When complete email Chris Reichelt's secretary, Holly Urena, and indicate these hours are for the 2020-2021 school year.
- TAGT On-Demand
- Membership ends in August so if a teacher has already completed 6 hours in the system for 2019-2020 it will not allow to exceed until I renew membership in Sept.
Please consider taking advantage of this opportunity.
