Oct. 28 - Nov. 1
Grange Hall Elementary is excited to announce that we will be having a Book Character Dress Up Day on Thursday, October 31, 2019. On that day, each student my come to school dressed up as a character from their favorite book. The character must be from a book (no costumes with weapons or masks). Your child should also be prepared to discuss both the character and the book. Please work with your child to plan a simple costume. Your child may also bring a copy of the book to class that day (not required).
Congratulations to all of our Running Bulldogs! A huge thank you to Coach Murray and Sutton for a successful Fall running club at GHES. If you weren't able to participate this Fall, be on the lookout for our Spring running club!
Have a wonderful week!

Gifted Testing Referrals
CCPS provides gifted education services to eligible students. In order for a student to be evaluated for eligibility, additional areas of strength, and/or CBG Academy admission, a Gifted Program Services Referral and Review Form must be submitted to start the process. These forms may be completed by parents/guardians, community members, teachers, or students and are available throughout the year during normal operating hours from counseling or main office staff. Verbal or email communications do not serve as a substitute for this form.
Signed and dated referral forms must be submitted to the student's school by the end of the school day on the referral deadline date to be considered for assessment during the testing window for that grade level. If any of these dates fall on a weekend, school holiday/break, or snow day, the deadline is the end of the next school day in which school is in session.
Referral deadlines are as follows:
- October 15 - students currently in grade 5
- December 15 - students currently in grades 2-4
- March 15 - students currently in KG or grade 1
