Mission Statement
At Immaculate Conception STEM Academy, our mission is to prepare students to be faith-filled, active members of our global community. While using critical thinking and problem solving skills, students will be able to apply their Catholic education to engineer innovative solutions to influence the world around them.
Principal's Message
The state and county have updated their indoor and outdoor mask policy. Effective Monday, March 14th, students will be strongly encouraged to wear a mask indoors but it will not be required. It will be your family's choice to continue masking indoors or not. I ask that you have a conversation with your child about respecting other people's choices. Many people choose to wear or not wear a mask for a variety of reasons. Weekly testing will continue on Wednesdays for those families that are interested. Please continue to keep your child at home if they are not feeling well.
Due to the improved conditions of the pandemic, we have decided to bring back our beloved Casino Night. Casino Night will take place in lieu of the Family Fun Day on May 14th. This fundraiser is a fun evening that helps generate much needed funds for our students. Each family is required to purchase 4 tickets at $50 each to fulfill your fundraising requirement. If you have already fulfilled your required $550 fundraising amount for this year, we would still love for you to join us for Casino Night. All classes are putting together a project and basket that will be a part of our silent auction that evening. In addition, we will be selling raffle tickets to win some great prizes. The details of the event and raffle will be sent home soon so save the date and get ready to have a great time at IC's Casino Royale!
I also wanted to share some personal information. I was recently diagnosed with MS. I will begin my treatment at the end of this month, which involves an infusion therapy. The infusion will help regulate the MS but will lower my immunity to infections. I will need to work from home while I recuperate from the infusion. During this time, I will still be actively involved in the school and am still available by email, phone, or zoom if you need anything. I will return after spring break. Keep me in your prayers as I navigate this. Thank you!
