Pasco county libraries available on mypascoconnect

Did you know you can access the libraries right from your device? There is an app available as part of mypascoconnect! If you don't see it just type the name in the search bar and added.


The library app will let you browse/request books, and have immediate access to eBooks and even audiobooks. Give it a shot!


Also, keep an eye on your local library for amazing free events of all sorts.

CONGRATULATIONS!

One of our very own ESOL students (previously highlighted in our newsletter together with his family) is the winner of a $500 dollars scholarship from TESOL.


As part of the application, the student wrote an essay of 300-400 words that describes the applicant’s academic experiences (including ESOL), highlighting personal and academic challenges and achievements, future educational goals, and how this award will be used to pursue those goals.


A letter of recommendation from his ESOL instructional assistant accompanied the submission.


We are very proud of Aaron and know this is only the beginning of more scholarships to come.

ESD (Extended school day) will begging in November at some schools

Soon some schools will announce the opportunity for ESD. This a great opportunity to support our ELL (English language learners)
