Rock Hill Review

Opening Up
As the recurring theme with our students, the word unity kept popping up. This time it was in reference to how the Rock Hill jacket could be united with the current PHS jacket. They wanted to make sure the jacket they designed held on to some of the tradition that had already been established at PHS. Without a doubt, this was a remarkable moment and I am proud of our kids for making that choice. It also goes to show how they understand attending a different High School in the District doesn't mean they are not an intrinsic part of Prosper. They see this exercise as their opportunity to not only be the first to open another High School in Prosper, but also to set the tone for each additional High School that will be opening in Prosper.
I get more and more excited every time I'm around our kids and am so fortunate to be a part this journey with them. I love how, in their own way, with each decision they make, our kids tell us no matter how big we get we are still Prosper and together we will ALWAYS be Prosper!

RHHS Students at Work
The concept designs have been unveiled for the Rock Hill High School Broadcast Studio. The designers sent us drafts of these concepts, so of course we had to enlist the help of our Broadcast students as to which studio model they liked the best. We will be sharing that info with everyone in the coming weeks!
Next week will be our first meeting with the RHHS Class of 2023 (current PHS Freshman). This meeting will be held during Eagle Time in the PHS Auditorium and afterwards the students will be provided with a Google Form to complete if they would like to be drafted for future Rock Hill class meetings during Eagle Time.
In the following weeks, we will also be meeting with the RHHS Class of 2024 (current 8th grade students) at the their respective Middle Schools during Eagle Time or Hawk Hour.
Please see the information listed in the upcoming events section as we continue to meet with our Classes of 2021 and 2022, and begin meeting with our Classes of 2023 and 2024 in the coming weeks!
If a student is not currently on the list to be drafted for the RHHS Class of 2021 and RHHS Class of 2022 meetings during Eagle Time and would like to be, please have them email the Campus Secretary, Erin Jones (eljones@prosper-isd.net) so they can be added. If a student is also drafted by a teacher during the Rock Hill High School meeting times, that will take priority over the RHHS meeting.
