Family Communication and Safety
We need your help.
If you are experiencing a temporary/permanent change in custody status please let the office know.
If there is a legal custody agreement the office needs a copy on file. If there is an informal arrangement the office will need documentation. The office needs this information in order to direct communications (report cards, progress reports, calls home to parent/guardian) as well as to ensure safety of student (dismissal/authorized pick up.)
Examples include: providing office of copy of custody/guardianship documents during separation, divorce, temporary custody situation.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
If you have any questions please contact the school office.

NDCL (Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) Events
The goal of The Blitz is to put together an event that enables kids, family and friends to come together and participate in a non-timed race that they can accomplish together. We want to stress the value of physical activity, health and nutrition as part of our daily lives and that you can have a whole lot of fun while accomplishing those goals.
The Blitz has already been held at 4 previous locations in Northeast Ohio and we invite you to visit our web site at www.theblitz.events<http://www.theblitz.events> to learn more about it and watch our 90 second video from one of our events.

Message from the Art Room
All projects completed in Art Class will be posted to Artsonia, our school’s online art gallery. If you see a work of art posted on your child’s account and it is not sent home, please assume that I have kept this work for the upcoming Art Show. St. Gabes hosts two Art Shows a year. The first one is during during Catholic Schools Week (January 31, 2016) and the second one is during Young Author/Artists Night (May 26, 2016). All work selected will be sent home when the show is taken down.
Indoor Recess - Donations
- We are asking families of third through sixth graders to donate any games your family has outgrown to help re-stock the indoor recess cabinet.
- Boxes and containers need not be in tip top condition, but we do ask that games contain all pieces and a set of instructions.
- Board games and card games are most welcome.
- Do not send in anything that requires batteries.
- There will be a bin placed in the school entry to put donated games.
- Should you have questions, please contact Lisa Petersen at firstname.lastname@example.org. “
