Headteacher's Comment

Christmas preparations are in full swing, I know many have already got their houses decorated. In school we are working hard to prepare for our different Christmas this year too, with parties, pantomime, Christmas dinners and performances all to look forward to. Further details are found later in this newsletter.

Once again I would like to thank you all for your support during these continued 'uncertain' times. You have helped keep school Covid free, so far, with only a few weeks until we break from Christmas on Friday 18th December. On the last day of term we will be finishing at 1.30pm, so please collect your children promptly.

Tickets are on sale via the PTFA team. Raffle tickets are 50p each. Tombola tickets are 5 for £1.00. Donations for the tombola and raffle would be much appreciated.

The draw will be made LIVE on the school Facebook page - this will be held on Thursday 10th December from 10am.

Reception Admissions

The portal is open for Reception places for September 2021 and applications need to be in by January 15th 2021. Please sign up as soon as possible, if you have any problems then let us know. Use the link to go to the online NCC portal

Poppy Appeal

On the 11th November we held our Remembrance Day service and asked the children to bring in copper coins to create our own copper poppies. The amount we raised on the day was £68.38, which school will make up to £100 - this money will be donated to The Royal British Legion to support them and the work they do to support the personnel of the armed forces. Thank you to all that helped by donating.

Absence Reporting

If your child is going to be absent from school for any reason please make sure that you contact school to let us know. We have an answerphone service (option 1) which has been set up to help with this. Please leave a message and if we need to call back for more information then we will do so.

It is your responsibility to inform school if your child is going to be absent or late.
