Lots of Things Happening at LTAC

During my walks through classrooms this week, I saw many interesting things and can't wait to share the pictures with you after September 12th (remember this is when Media Opt Out Forms are due)! Students were practicing leading and weighing dogs, learning how to land judge, learning to drive a zero-turn mower, learning the meanings of prefixes, suffixes and root words, analyzing data from a density lab, trying on FFA jackets, developing blog sites, learning how to use the media center, learning how to use their school email, and giving tours. Amazingly enough, this is just a small portion of what's happening at LTAC through instruction. We are proud to serve your students and want to thank you for making LTAC your choice!

New Student Recognition Program

On Friday each teacher nominates a student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, academic ability, service to school and community, or cooperation. Students will receive school-wide recognition each Monday along with a certificate and voucher. We are excited about this new program and it has been tremendous to watch students' reactions.

Media Opt Out Forms

After September 12, we will be able to include pictures of our students in the newsletter. Media opt-out forms were distributed to students. Opt-out forms are due by 9/12. Remember, you only submit this form if you don't want us to celebrate your student's accomplishments in our media releases (newsletters, Facebook pages, Twitter, etc.).

Instructional Fees

There is an instructional fee of $16 for students at LTAC. This fee includes materials (except clothing) for all classes at LTAC.
