Students that are enrolled in a Spring 2023 Dual Credit class must make payments by Wednesday, November 30th to avoid being dropped for non-payment.


Dates to Remember:

Registration: October 11th- November 30th (enrolled students are automatically registered)

Payment Deadline: November 30th by 7pm

Semester Dates: January 17th- May 12th

Meet our new College & Career Counselor for Collin College!

Kenzie Lopes is a College & Career Counselor for Collin College. She is here at Plano Senior Mon-Fri in C105 to assist with Dual Credit, students interested in attending Collin College, and any other general advisement as needed.


Kenzie grew up in Memphis, TN and recently moved to Texas from Utah where she worked at Utah Valley University as the director of a STEM outreach program for middle school and jr. high students. In her free time she enjoys drawing, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

PSAT Scores

Juniors- If you took the PSAT in October, scores will be available on December 6th. They will be emailed to the address you provided on test day. Counselors will have access to scores later in the month. Questions about your score? Contact Keith Walls: keith.walls@pisd.edu

What is the FAFSA?

FAFSA- The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used to determine a student’s eligibility for all types of federal and state financial aid. Completing the FAFSA or submitting an official FAFSA Opt-Out Form is a Texas Graduation Requirement. You can submit your proof of completion by logging into SchooLinks or you can contact your counselor for assistance. https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa


Students not eligible to complete the FAFSA may be able to complete the TASFA. Only specific students qualify to complete the TASFA, see your counselor for more information.


THE FAFSA IS NOW OPEN FOR SUBMISSION.

PRIORITY FINANCIAL AID DEADLINE IS JANUARY 15TH!


A student who will not be applying for Financial Aid may choose to opt-out of completing the FAFSA by submitting an official opt-out form. Complete the form and upload it to your SchooLinks account or bring it to your Counselor:
