Music
Technology
Students are learning proper keyboarding technique. Each student has their own account online through Typing Club to complete typing lessons. https://mcpasd.typingclub.com/
Art
Why do people make art? Why is art important? How does art affect your mood? How do artists use balance? What is process vs. product? (Express Yourself! Self Portraits, Sand Mandalas)
PE
We are training for the Wolverine Dash! We are also starting fitness testing (and stations); by the end of the month, we will be transitioning to throwing and catching. Students will play all sorts of throwing and catching games/activities (focusing on hand-eye coordination & stepping with opposition).
Guidance
We are continuing to learn about Kelso’s Choices. This month we are focusing on what to do when we have a small problem. We will also begin to identify others’ feelings and understand other’s perspectives.
