parents of existing k-11 students: please complete online re-enrollment and planning survey by may 14
In preparation for the 2021-22 school year, we are asking parents to complete the re-enrollment process online on Parent Portal. We are also gauging our family's comfort level with a complete return to full in-person instruction, and will offer a place to share any concerns and/or suggestions. Please complete this both items by May 14, 2021.
Log on to Parent Portal to complete the survey and online re-enrollment process. See attached guide for completing online registration. If you have any questions, please call our office.
MAP TESTING TREAT FOR 3-5th grade students from PTa
Dear 3rd- 5th Grade Parents –
Each year at the conclusion of MAP testing the students usually take a short field trip to Dairy Queen for a sweet treat for their hard work and dedication during this testing time. This year they won’t be able to visit DQ but instead the PTA would like to keep this tradition going even if it looks a little different.
On May 14th the Siegrist PTA will be having an Ice Cream Truck come to the school at 12:45-2:45pm. A menu will be emailed to each teacher next week with 4-6 options for students to choose from. **All items will be nut free and there will be a dairy free option.
Please email your students teacher if there are any dietary concerns that they should be made aware of.
5th Grade Peace Out Shirt for Sale - PTA sponsored
Dear 5th Grade Parents,
It’s hard to believe the 2020-2021 school is coming to an end and our 5th Grade Leaders will be heading to Middle school soon! To help celebrate their achievements, the PTA has teamed up with 4 Hour Tees to design a fun shirt for all of the 5th grade students to wear on their last day. We have left the back of the shirt blank for all of those signatures from students, teachers and staff. We would love for every student to wear this on the 26th but understand that this may not be the perfect time to purchase one more thing and that’s ok. There is a place on the order form for those that would like to sponsor another child (ren) and the PTA will cover the rest. FYI…If you choose to sponsor a child, the order form will not let you select a size. We’ll take care of that after all orders are received on May 13th. Shirts will be delivered to school by Friday, May 21st.
CONGRATULATIONS to your 5th Grade Leader!

Fireside Chat with the Fam
Habit Highlight- Sharpen the Saw
Focus Lesson- Explain that on an airplane passengers are instructed to put on their own oxygen masks first before they try to help someone else. Ask: “Why would we need to put on our own masks first? Is that selfish? Why is it important for us to take time every day to sharpen our own saw?” Discuss as a family: How can we help each other take time to sharpen our individual saws?
At home extension to this week's innovation Team - If you or members of your family play an instrument, sing, dance or have another talent, juggling, magic, drama etc. put on a performance in your living room!
