NEWS YOU CAN USE...

1. Not a Fun Topic, but Need to Know

In light of recent child abuse and molestation cases within the Indianapolis area, please remember the following lessons when it comes to student safety and our legal obligations.

  • All school professionals have a legal duty to report, in "good faith," suspected child abuse and/or neglect to local law enforcement officials.
  • Never assume suspected instances of child abuse are reported by another agency or person.
  • If you suspect that a student in the victim of child abuse or neglect please make Abby and me aware and we will ensure that proper reporting procedures are followed.
