COVID-19 Update - 2 March 2022
Kia Ora Tātou
As we expected COVID-19 is in our kura hāpori. The health and wellbeing of our tamariki, kaimahi and hāpori continue to be of top priority.
We have protocols established, and it is important to continue practicing these consistently.
We will continue to:
Operate in kāhui
Be mindful of physical distancing
Model and encourage good hygiene practices
Maintain regular cleaning practices
What you need to do:
If your tamaiti is feeling unwell please ensure they stay home, please inform kura.
If your tamaiti is displaying COVID-19 symptoms please seek advice through Healthline on 0800 358 5453 and/or have them COVID tested. They will need to remain at home until a result is received, please inform kura of the result.
If your tamaiti or someone in your household has a positive COVID-19 test result you will all need to isolate for 10 days as per the Ministry of Health guidelines, please inform kura.
If your tamaiti is isolating as someone in your household has tested positive, please inform kura.
It is really important that we are informed to ensure we can organise Kura@Kainga and can inform our whānau and kaimahi that are immunocompromised. Please contact Kura at the tari on 03 3374360 OR email: firstname.lastname@example.org, don’t worry or feel embarrassed we were expecting COVID and are prepared for this.
Next week, isolation manaaki packs will be sent out to whānau, he mihi ki Te Poari Matua, me Te Pūtahitanga!
