BOARD OF EDUCATION UPCOMING MEETING - MONDAY, JUNE 22ND, 2020
The Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday, June 22nd will be a virtual online meeting starting at 7:00 pm. At this meeting we will be recognizing our retirees. Information regarding the virtual meeting will be available on the South Brunswick School District website at www.sbschools.org prior to the meeting.

REPORT CARD INFORMATION
Report cards will look a little different this final reporting period as a result of adjustments made to grading during the extended remote learning period. Here are the dates of publication for each grade level of instruction and a letter with the details about grading during remote learning.
Elementary School report cards will be posted Monday, June 22, 2020.

5TH GRADE SUMMER MATH ASSIGNMENTS FOR RISING 6TH GRADERS

FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH PROGRAM INFORMATION
Applications for the 2020-2021 Free and Reduced Lunch Program will not be available until the mid/end of August.
Notifications will be sent out closer to that time.
INFORMATION ON LUNCH MONEY REFUNDS - LAST DAY TO SUBMIT FOR LUNCH REIMBURSEMENT IS JUNE 30TH
- If your child is graduating or your family is moving out of the district or if you would like the balance transferred to a younger sibling still in the district, please click here for form to fill out the request.
- We can not change or cancel anything through MySchoolBucks. If you have reoccurring charges you must log in to your account and cancel or suspend the transactions.
- Otherwise, your child(ren)s breakfast/lunch money will stay in their account and carry over to the following school year. If you still wish to receive a refund please click here to complete request.
- All requests can be emailed or mailed below, please allow 3-4 weeks for all refund requests.

- We appreciate the generosity of our South Brunswick families, but we can not accept donations.

INFORMATION ON HOW TO RECEIVE LUNCH-JUNE 22 IS THE LAST DAY FOR PICK UP...
Please note that June 22nd will be the last day to pick up. This pick up will include enough meals to feed through June 30th.
We understand the potential impact of this pandemic on our South Brunswick Community. So everyone is aware, changes have occurred that will allow your household to apply or reapply for free/reduced lunch during these unprecedented times. If your household is experiencing difficulties in providing for your family, you may at any time log into your Genesis parent portal and apply for free/reduced meals provided by the district. Paper applications are available on the district website under ‘Lunch Information’. Please know that you may need to provide backup, such as an unemployment letter or pay stubs, as proof of your hardship.
As per the state National School Breakfast and Lunch all meals served will be available to all current South Brunswick Students grades K-12 regardless of lunch status.
District pick up sites will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8-10AM, with tables and personnel at the front doors. Please review the pickup sites below and the schools that each site will support.
Pick up Sites:
- Crossroads South Middle School will support: Crossroads South Middle School, Crossroads North Middle School, High School, Indian Fields, Dayton, Brooks Crossing, Deans, and Monmouth Junction Schools.
- Greenbrook Elementary School will support: Greenbrook, Brunswick Acres, Constable, and Cambridge Schools.
In conjunction with our pickup sites we will perform a food run on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays that will stop in the following communities at the times below. If you are choosing to pick up from a bus run location it is important that you be at the location ten minutes prior to the arrival time.
Bus Run Locations
- 9:15 am - 9:30 pm Kingston Terrace - at entrance to pool/clubhouse
- 9:45 am - 10:00 am SouthRidge Woods - located at the pool/clubhouse
- 10:15 am -10:25 am Royal Oaks - located at the clubhouse
- 10:30 am - 10:45 am Brookside Mobile - located at the front of park
- 11:00 am - 11:15 am Oakdale Village - located at the front of park
- 11:25 am - 11:40 am Monmouth Mobile - located in the front of park
**For your safety and ours, cones and a bucket will be placed 6ft from the back of the bus, food items will be placed in the bucket for pick up once your child(ren)s name is confirmed.
Please remember to adhere to the 6ft social distancing rule.**

TIME TO CELEBRATE THE CLASS OF 2020 AND OUR 5TH AND 8TH GRADERS
It is time to celebrate the Class of 2020 along with our 5th and 8th graders who will also be reaching milestones. DISTRICTWIDE "CLAP OUT"
We would also like to recognize our 5th, 8th, and 12th graders with a Districtwide “Clap Out" as they reach these milestones. This “Clap Out” will be held on June 22nd at 8:00 PM.
At 8:00 PM that evening, we are asking the entire community to go outside and make some noise for these students!! Cheer, bang some pots, beep horns, clap loudly, etc. to show these
students how proud we all are of their accomplishments.
