Please keep sick students at home and encourage frequent handwashing to protect other.
Students should stay home until they are well enough to participate and are fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication. Once your student starts improving, please test for covid and send back to school with a negative result ASAP!
- Washing your hands is easy, and it's the most effective way to prevent the spread of germs... Especially stomach bugs!
- Covid home test kits will continue to be given to students sent home with covid symptoms for the remainder of the school year.
“Once a week, take a peek” We continue to see lice cases; please check your child’s hair weekly to prevent an outbreak in your home.
Please ensure students wear short sleeve school uniform shirts as the weather warms up. Consider sending your child with a water bottle to school to fill at the water fountain to stay hydrated.

Social Media Platforms
Parents, did you know that the age requirement for social media platforms such as
Snapchat and Tik Tok are 13 years or older?
With that, unless a parent uses parental controls, their child can access images, videos and conversations that are meant for ADULTS!
Our Graves Sailors are too young for these types of conversations and images.
Over the past few days, students have been reporting inappropriate behavior with social media platforms. like Tik Tok, Snapchat and text messaging group chats. If you allow your child to have any of these apps or any other social media platforms, please consider putting parental controls in place.
See below for more information.

Important for residents:
Call 9-1-1 for emergencies.
Call 3-1-1 or call your city or village office for municipal or local government services if 3-1-1 is not available in your community.
Call 9-8-8 for the suicide and crisis lifeline.
