The Beginning of Everything

Ezra Faulkner gets hurt in a car accident and shatters his knee. He can't play tennis ever again and he has had a hard time accepting that, but a new girl shows up at school. He sits behind her in class and talks to her a few times. He starts to like her and asks her out. They are supposed to go to prom together, but she doesn't answer and goes missing....

Type of Conflict: man vs. society

The people that Ezra used to play tennis with always makes fun of him because he can't play anymore. Every day at lunch they stare him down and always say something to him about the people he hangs out with now.
