Maverick Minutes
Week of 5/7-5/11
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
Teaching is a calling. Like a ministry, you have been given the call to teach, share, empower, embrace, ignite and love these kids through your content area and the many character lessons you teach them throughout the day. Yes, some may test your patience, but I believe (having been at every level) that middle school is the most crucial time in their schooling. I believe it is in these years that they are molded into who they will become. I know you don't take it lightly and I know the enormity that is asked of you in this profession. A noble profession it is and we are better because we are teachers! Continue to do the amazing things you do each and every day. You have my utmost respect.
As a token of our appreciation, new v'necks (women) and polo's (men) will be in your boxes by the end of the day, Monday! My week this week is short with graduation, but Bill and Rick will man the grill on Friday to serve you up the best dogs and burgers in the business!!!
Enjoy your week!!!!
