Book Fair Goal and Assembly
For this book fair, we have set a goal of selling 700 books and raising $3500. If these goals are met, both Mrs. Tarallo and Mr. Sailors have agreed to compete in an obstacle course. The added bonus is that several students will be chosen out of the crowd to compete against them. So, if you want to see Mrs. Tarallo and Mr. Sailors compete in an obstacle course, then come to our 2014 book fair.
The assembly will take place after CRCT.

All for Books Challenge
Scholastic has an All for Book challenge. For every dollar that we raise for All for Books, Scholastic will donate one book to a local charity that they work with.
To help motivate students for this challenge, the student crew has created a contest. In the media center, we will have 4 jars for each grade level and connections. Along with these jars, there will also be a jar for each homeroom. Whichever jar has the most money in it by the end of the book fair will get to compete in the Book Fair obstacle course. The homeroom that wins will have the opportunity to compete against the group of teachers that win. So if you want your teacher to compete, then you will put money in their jar.
At this same assembly, Mr. Sailors and Mrs. Tarallo will compete in the obstacle course if we meet our book fair goals mentioned above.
