Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members,
On Thursday, May 26th, all elementary school students, their families, and community members are invited to join us at our first end-of-year elementary Celebration of Learning! This event, which will be held between 5:00-6:15PM in Wamogo's main gymnasium, will feature each elementary school student's personally selected work that showcases his or her best effort, such as written pieces, mathematical representations, artwork, MakerSpace creations, science models and more.
Visitors are welcome to arrive at any point during the 75-minute window, and to visit the variety of stations that will be arranged in the gymnasium, at least one of which will feature your child's work. Teachers will be at their respective stations to greet and assist you as you explore. We look forward to seeing all of you at this new event, the latest in our series of connections between the students and staff of all three of our RSD6 elementary schools!
Welcome to our new school nurse!
Michele has been a nurse at Hartford Hospital for the past 24 years, with a background in medicine, surgery, and cardiology. She has also subbed as a nurse for Region 6 and Litchfield Schools for the past 5 years. Michele has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from St. Joseph College, and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Hartford. She lives in Morris with her husband Keith and her two children, Colin and Justin.

SoundWaters Field Trip
Students conducted population studies of tidal animals, learned all about horseshoe crabs, petted fish, seined the shallow brackish water, and more!
The sun made a welcome companion on the trip, so students were able to enjoy a picnic lunch and fun on the Cove Island playground as well.
Thank you, Friends of Warren School, for subsidizing this trip so that everyone could attend! Thank you also to the many parent volunteers who enjoyed the day with us.
