Lunar New Year
This year the 2022 Lunar New Year is on February 1, 2022. Ms. Kang, one of our parents shared this with us so we can all have a better understanding of Lunar New Years. Enjoy!
The Lunar New Year is celebrated by many Asian countries as one of the biggest holidays. It's called the Lunar New Year because it begins with the first new moon of the lunar calendar. Many people don't realize so many Asian countries also celebrate the Lunar New Year and that it is inaccurate to call this celebration the Chinese New Year.
We will share a presentation that Ms. Kang created over our morning announcements this week.
