This Week's Snapshot...

Thank you to all of the families that attended conferences this week! I am so happy we were able to share your child's academic successes with you!

Here are just a few snapshots from this week:

  • Students really enjoyed having the Harlem Wizards visit this week. Thank you to those who supported this fundraiser.
  • Students in Mrs. Lyons' class spent time this week discussing how the setting impacts the plot and what would happen to the plot if the setting were to change.
  • Success time was a lot of fun and we had a great turn out! We talked about showing our best effort! Ask your child about it!

Next week will be our last week before fall break. I hope that you can attend our PTO meeting on Tuesday at 5:30. There will be a $25 gift card raffle for those in attendance!

Also, we are doing something new with veteran's day this year. In addition to recognizing our veterans, we are also collecting donations for Indy Honor Flight. This organization gives veterans an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. The cost is $450 per veteran and we are hoping to raise enough funds to sponsor at least 1!! Please consider making a donation in honor of a veteran near and dear to your heart!

Until Next Week,

Mrs. Gordon
