Family & Teacher Conferences

Thank YOU!

Last week our teachers were able to meet with almost all of you through Zoom video call or a voice phone conference. It was amazing to connect with each of you to share our new learning platform Seesaw and BEST OF ALL to see our student's smiling faces again! We are all looking forward to live Zoom sessions this week with our students and seeing the work they post in Seesaw. Thank you for all of your support from home, it is noticed and SO appreciated!

Live teaching begins!

Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL) Live Teaching & Small Groups will begin this week!

We are aware there are some internet outages due to Century Link. If you're unable to join our live sessions, videos and assignments will still be available in Seesaw when you are able to access the internet again.

K-5 students will all participate in live Morning Meetings with their classes from 8:30-9:00 AM. Live small groups in grades 3rd-5th will continue from 9-10:30 AM & 11:30-1:00 PM, while student in K-2 will have two separate individual assessment conferences with their teacher. Assignments will also be posted in Seesaw to complete independently.

How do I contact my child's teacher?

Teacher Contact Information

Teachers can be contacted through the family communication app in Seesaw or by phone or email. Please contact your child's teacher if you are not yet connected to your child's Seesaw account.

Also, all contact information for teachers (including phone numbers) can be found on our school website. Due to distance learning, all teachers have their own individual phone numbers. Here is the link https://pre.seaside.k12.or.us/ourstaff

How do I access CLEVER on my own device?

Student Clever Sign-On

Students can access all of their online learning links through Clever even on your own devices. The link to our Clever login is located on our school website here https://pre.seaside.k12.or.us/.

FREE Breakfast & Lunch K-5

Updated Delivery Times!

SSD – FREE Grab & Go Breakfast/Lunch Meals for Ages 0-18 UPDATED and starting 9/21/2020

For daily drop off locations https://www.seaside.k12.or.us/foodservice

All meal route delivery is between 10:30 am-11:30 am, Monday-Friday. Two routes have extended delivery times: Black Bus 11:27 am-12:21 pm and Purple Bus 11:29 am – 12:20 pm.

During CDL, children can enjoy meals at no charge through a federally funded nutrition program open to all kids aged 0-18 years. No applications are necessary to get a breakfast/lunch sack. All children and teens are welcome. USDA has granted a waiver to the Oregon Department of Education so the Seaside School District can provide a grab-n-go meal service (breakfast and lunch) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meals are served at a designated site and children and/or an authorized adult may pick up meals for consumption off site. Only one grab-n-go meal is allowable per child; however, an authorized adult may request additional meals for children that were unable to come to the delivery location. Adults need to provide a written note to the school district meal staff requesting the number of meals the child is allowed to pick up on a daily basis for other 0-18 children in the household but not at the meal stop.

Please help us continue to provide free breakfast and lunch to all of our K-5 students!

Pacific Ridge Elementary School will continue to participate in a Universal Lunch and School Breakfast Program for the current school year (2020-2021). All students enrolled at the Elementary school may participate in the breakfast and lunch program at no charge to them.

For the last two years families have not been required to fill out Free and Reduced Applications. This year, it will be critical for the future of this program that all of our families complete applications. Use the link to complete your Household application for Free and Reduced Meals or you can get a paper copy when you pick up your child's Chromebook & Learning Kit.
