Homework Hideout and After School Library
Buffett offers two after school opportunities for students to have a space to work on homework, study for tests, or work with teachers for some extra help.
Homework Hideout is offered by each team and days of the week vary by team. Please reach out to your child's homeroom teacher to see when Homework Hideout is offered on their team.
The library will be open starting on Sept. 24 after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Students must arrive by 3:10. Students getting rides or walking home, can leave when they need to, but will not be able to return once they leave for the day. Students needing to take the late bus need to sign up in the office. The late bus departs Buffett at 5:00.
Athletic Events & Activity Cards!
Just a reminder that this will be the first week where we will be using activity cards for entrance to athletic events. Without an activity card, the admission for students to athletic events is $1.00; adult admission is $3.00
AdvancED Parent Survey
As part of the AdvancED Accreditation process, we are asked to seek input from students, parents and staff. We are asking Buffett parents to please take a few minutes to complete this SHORT survey to help us gather information on different aspects of your and your child's experience with school at Alice Buffett Magnet Middle School.
Students and staff will be taking surveys as well. Thanks for your input!
Thanks for Coming to Open House!
Bobcat Nation was shining bright Tuesday night at Open House. Guests were able to visit classrooms and chat with teachers, gather information and give-aways in the commons, and even grab some delicious dinner from the food truck out front!
Thanks from coming and supporting our Bobcat students, staff, and organizations!
