DEATH SENTENCES TO NINE NEGRO BOYS
By: Jason Ruediger
Scottsboro Trials
In 1931, a group of nine negro boys were accused of raping two white women. The two women were Victoria Price and Ruby Bates. The group of negro boys had an argument against a group of white teenagers on a train. After seeing what happened, the girls then proceded to accuse them because of their skin color.
