Learning. Growing. Collaborating & Achieving @KrumHighSchool

July 11, 2019

Greetings Bobcats! On behalf of our administration, faculty, and staff, welcome to KHS! We are looking forward to an outstanding year at Krum High School. In just a few weeks, we will begin the first day of school. In the meantime, we wanted to remind you about registration and other important dates around the corner. Please remember to register your students on Tuesday, July 16th and Wednesday, July 17th for the 2019-20 school year. All new and returning students must register. This year's registration will take place at Krum High School from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. All needed forms can be accessed on the Krum ISD website. (You can also follow this link: )

In addition to registration, please add the following important dates to your calendar.

  • August 1st - FISH CAMP (Freshman Orientation) (1:00-3:30 students & 3:30-4:00 PM parents/students)
  • August 4th - Bobcat Bash - 6:00 - 9:00 pm
  • August 8th - Ice Cream Social/Meet the Teacher -- 6:00 - 7:30 pm

We encourage you to bring your family on Sunday, August 4th between 6:00 to 9:00 pm for Bobcat Bash 2019! The Krum Athletic Booster Club and Krum Athletic Department are planning a family affair and community pep rally at KHS. You will meet the new faces of our varsity teams as well as become reacquainted with familiar faces. Krum has many proud traditions, and we hope you will participate in meeting our students and coaches.

In addition, this year, Krum High School is hosting an "Ice Cream Social and Meet the Teacher" on Thursday, August 8th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. We would love to meet your family in an informal setting before the year begins. Please join us and meet our KHS faculty and staff.

A change to our procedures this year is schedule pick-up. In an effort to conserve resources, instead of printing schedules on paper, we will make schedules available through parent portal to all students. The date will coincide with the Dyer and Dodd's meet the teacher nights. Chromebooks will be distributed during the first week of school.

The summer is quickly passing; but we are preparing for an exceptional year. We look forward to seeing you at one of the many upcoming events. Most of all, we look forward to working and learning with each of you throughout the year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at

Go Bobcats!
