Principal's Message

Parents, we want to once again thank you for coming back into our school and joining us in-person for your parent/teacher conferences! That connection is so valuable and we appreciate the open communication we are able to have with you all.

HUGE THANK YOU to our PTO for our wonderful dinner on Wednesday evening! We all are so grateful for that support when we have those long evenings!

We are excited to also welcome parents for our Halloween parties on Monday, Oct. 31! We will plan to start our parade at 2:45 and will parade through the inside of the school and outside along the front and side (weather pending). Our classroom parties will take place following the parade from 3PM-3:30PM. All parents entering the school will need to check in and receive a visitors badge. Please keep in mind as you make your choices for costumes that we do have guidelines regarding “weapons” and blood and ask you to refrain from allowing blood, gore, or weapons in your child’s costume. Masks may be worn for the parade and party. We are looking forward to a fun fall event!

AS A REMINDER - We are asking all parents to take a few minutes to complete this Elementary Parent Climate Survey -https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9GXS2MJ

We value and appreciate your input! Please complete this by October 24. Thank you!

The Book Fair is Coming! The Book Fair is Coming!

GRE will hold their book fair, in the library, from Monday, Oct. 31- Friday, Nov. 4. We will be sending information letters and flyers home with your students next week. We will also be sharing a video and going over the book fair info with the students during their library classes. Please look for the information to come home.

The fair will be open each day from 9:00am – 3:30pm. Students will be able to shop during their library class time AND when it is convenient for their teacher.

We will have 2 family shopping nights this year! Tuesday, Nov. 1 and Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 5:30pm-7:00pm. You are welcome to come either night that works best for you. As always, we appreciate the support of reading and the library.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out!
