Jennifer De Leon was born in Boston to Guatemalan parents. She was named a 2020 Latinx Trailblazer by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Her first book, Don’t Ask Me Where I’m From, is a beautifully written novel that talks about race, immigration and the struggles that come from keeping secrets. To read this book, please stop by the library.
