Why did lawmakers ban all alcohol distrubutions?

Many people drank illegal drugs such as beer, vodka, whiskey made from bootleggers. The lawmakers wanted the numbers of alcohol, people drink to decline.

What was the public response to prohibition?

Many people ignored the law and some people sold illegal drugs that they bought to people that wanted them, but a lot of people respected the law and stopped their amount of alchohol

What were the effects of the Prohibition?

Before the Prohibition people drank 26 litters but after the prohibition the amount of litters per person reduced to 11 litters.

When And Why Did Prohibition End?

It ended on Dec 5 1933 right after World War 1 Ended. Many people argued the ban encouraged crime for the law. Immigrants say it is an attack of their traditions.
