WATER

Instead of getting an expensive soda chose the free and healthy water! Sodas, Sweet teas, and Lemonades are loaded with sugars and calories.

CONDIMENTS

Most of the calories we eat when we eat out is from the condiments packages. A little is a lot so try only using one packet of ketchup on your burger.

THE LIGHTER SIDE

When going through a drive through try picking a snack off of the "Lighter Side" of the menu. You will most likely have choices between a salad or grilled chicken wraps which are better to consume than a big greasy cheeseburger.

SMALL BITES

When you are sitting down to eat chew your food up completely before swallowing and take your time! You will get more full faster and chewing does burn calories...

1/2

Only eat half of what you get. Save the other half for your meal later that night or the next day. Most fast food restaurants serve more than the average person needs.

NUTRIENTS LABEL

Always look at the nutrients label. Its good to know what you are consuming when you eat what you eat and it might also change your mind to chose something on the healthier side,

TRACK YOUR FOODS

With fast food restaurants it is easy to exceed your daily calorie limit. Tracking your food every day will help you stay in your limit and also help you make your food decisions when you are about to order.
