Stunning beauty all year round...and less rain than London!
The much-frequented driving range
Willow had 7 puppies last week!!!
Hello there. The children are back at school and the students are pouring back into St Andrews for another academic year. The town is buzzing once again, Marks & Spencer is opening next week (yippee!) and our church family has doubled in size over the weekend which makes squeezing everyone in a bit of a challenge.
We are excited that Jody MacIver, from the Isle of Lewis, has just joined our staff team to work amongst the women in our church family. We now have a staff team of 4 (3 more than when we first arrived!). All in all, the year has got off to a great start. The only down side about this time of year is the days getting rapidly shorter.
Do look at the link below to get more of a feel of why we came to St Andrews.
West Sands footi.
This 2 mile stretch of sand is the perfect location for sport of every description and Willow walking. It is our favourite spot, is never crowded and gives fabulous views.
Rugby season!
Archie (left) is mad on rugby so loves this time of year when he gets to play for school AND a local club. Fred (right) was so chuffed to be picked for the U14 team but acting is really his big passion.
Sophie with friends
Sophie (middle) is very happy at school & has a some lovely friends. This was taken at the junior school ceilidh...we still need to work on our scottish dancing!
My mum's 70th birthday celebrations
On a balmy summer's evening in Derbyshire (mid way point for us all) my brothers, sisters-in-law and our littlies celebrated my mum turning 70.
A normal Thursday night!??
We have 40 students round for bible study on Thursday evenings which ends in hot chocolate & doughnuts and late night chat. They thought it would be funny to wear crazy hats to celebrate Paul's birthday?!
Students ....
It was Johanna's birthday so a bunch of girlies came to bible study in onesies...as you do. Our children love hanging out with the students in our church family, especially if it involves PS4 competitions.
