Returning to Doyle Elementary

We have already started the enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year. Knowing how many students are planning to return in August is critical to ensuring we have the right number of teachers and classrooms prepared for our students’ arrival. For us to effectively plan for student enrollment and staffing for the 2021-2022 school year, we request that you fill out this form for each of your students. Please complete this form by Thursday, May 27, 2021.

Enrollment for the 2021-2022 School Year

Enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year has started. Our enrollment hours are 8:30AM-12:00PM. This is for new families to enroll their children to attend our school next year. All enrollment information can be found on our school website. If you currently have a student here, there is no need to re-enroll. They will be promoted to the next grade at the end of this school year.

Weekly Wellness Tip from the Counselor

Weekly Wellness Tip

A good guideline is to drink at least half of your body weight in ounces per day. If you already do that and are looking for a challenge drink at least 120 ounces per day!

Don’t forget to increase your water intake if you are exercising or during hot temperature days. Lastly, here are some helpful tips to make sure you drink enough water each day:

  • Infuse your water with lemon, cucumber, lime or mint
  • Keep track of your bottles of water drank by keeping rubber bands around your water bottle
  • Drink at least 8 ounces of water before you eat a snack or meal
  • Fill up a gallon jug of water each day and pour from that each time you need more.

"The San Diego Unified School District and The San Diego Foundation announced a new summer learning and enrichment program that will serve thousands of students from across the city. These students spent months indoors and apart from their teachers and friends due to the global pandemic, so the goal of this new program is to help them level up for next year through a summer of learning and joy."
