Weekly Wellness Tip from the Counselor
Weekly Wellness Tip
WATER
A good guideline is to drink at least half of your body weight in ounces per day. If you already do that and are looking for a challenge drink at least 120 ounces per day!
Don’t forget to increase your water intake if you are exercising or during hot temperature days. Lastly, here are some helpful tips to make sure you drink enough water each day:
- Infuse your water with lemon, cucumber, lime or mint
- Keep track of your bottles of water drank by keeping rubber bands around your water bottle
- Drink at least 8 ounces of water before you eat a snack or meal
- Fill up a gallon jug of water each day and pour from that each time you need more.
