If you have a 2.5 GPA or above and interested in attending Central Washington University you can participate in the CWU “On the Spot Admissions” by scheduling an appointment. The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will open Oct. 1. Be prepared by getting your FSA ID now! Go to: https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch
Your parent (only one parent) will need one as well. Please see Mrs. Nass in the Career Office for more information and Financial Workshop opportunities.
Please consider attending the meetings for the schools/military branch that interest you. Also, be sure to let your teacher know you will be missing the learning support time for that day. You are still responsible for any work missed.

Do you like science? How about technology? STEM CLUB meets every Thursday at 2:00. If you add the class code for STEM Club you will be able to get the zoom link. International Club will meet on Tuesdays from 2-3 PM. Email Ms. Urushidani (urushida@skschools.org) if you are interested in being a member of this BRAND NEW CLUB! The focus will be on helping international and ELL students learn about SKHS, practice English, and more!
Attention Astronomers! SK’s virtual moon museum is live tonight and will be live until Monday September 28. It is part of the celebration of International Moon Night. Each student has made a different gallery and each gallery covers a different aspect of the moon. You can get to the moon night by going to https://moon.nasa.gov/observe-the-moon-night/, click participate, find an event, scroll down and type in South Kitsap. Select South Kitsap Virtual museum and enjoy. Be sure to fill out the short survey at the end.

Charlie Brown is a 3 year old Lab who reminds us all to stay the course, keep calm and prepare to graduate!
Charlie lives with Mr. Dame, Mrs. Lester-Dame, and his 3 favorite girls, Amelya, Elaina and Heidi. His favorite things are peanut butter and back scratches.
