Culver’s Nights
The proceeds from the McTeacher night and Culver’s nights will help to pay for family events free of cost to our parents. Our goal this year is to have fun and engaging family activities without charging them.
The only time families will be charged is for our building fundraiser/Marker Faire.
Conferences
This was sent out in an email on Wednesday, we are resending it to ensure everyone has the information.
Below is the conference sign up sheet you can use with your parents. You are welcome to set up an electronic sign up, but the times listed are required to ensure consistency throughout the school and help when scheduling ESL and special education students.
2019-20 parent-teacher conference
I have also attached the ESL conference schedule, Summer has already made contact with these families so we are able to provide appropriate translation services. Please make sure to block out the times for your ESL students on your schedule prior to sending out the times to the rest of your class.
Please let us know if you have any questions. We would like for everyone to have these sent out by Friday.
Thanks!
Please remember to share you conference schedule with Linda and Beverly once it is finalized.

Progress Monitoring
Progress Monitoring through STAR is an expectation for all students seeing a learning mentor or who are in an RTI group.
In order to Progress Monitor a student in STAR, two things must occur:
The student must test outside of the normal testing windows.
The student must have a Goal set for the subject in which they are testing. Here is a quick video tutorial which shows you how to set a goal.
Please note: At least 12-20 instructional days of intervention should occur between Progress Monitoring sessions to gauge effectiveness of intervention.

Learning Mentor Expectations
Please remember that learning mentors should be seeing “Bubble” students. If you need any help determining which students, please contact Mr. Batchelder. Please also remember that the maximum number of students allowed within a group is 5.
