Student Device Fees

This year, all students in grades K-12 have the opportunity to check out a district-owned device for use at school and at home.

The district adds a fee of $20 to students’ Online Payment accounts (maximum fee of $60 per family per school year) to enroll them in the Damage Loss Protection Program.

Students need to pay the assigned fee prior to any damage or loss claims to be eligible for the Protection Program coverage and no later than 30 days after they begin school.

This fee is waived for families who qualify for the free or reduced meal benefits program and have completed the Permission to Share Form.

Students may choose to decline coverage, but this is not recommended, because the family is assuming full responsibility for any costs due to damage, loss or theft. These costs could be as much as $300 per incident, regardless of how it happens.

Parents will have the option to opt in or opt out of the Protection Program during the Online Verification process. Here is the link to opt in or out.

Go to Online Payment System to pay the fee.

Wellness Wednesdays

Hi Hazeldale!

Mr. Culbert (Student Success Coach) and Ms. Clifford (School Counselor) are excited to meet with each grade level every other week. We will be using Sanford Harmony (Social and Emotional Learning curriculum) to teach our lessons.

Our main goal is to connect with one another in ways we normally would in school. Wednesdays will also be supplemented with brain science lessons, Zones of Regulation, along with SEL skill building activities.

There will be a Zoom link in Seesaw to connect. There will also be an asynchronous activity for those who miss the live lesson in Seesaw. You will receive a reminder when it is your grades' Wednesday to participate!

Next Wednesday, September 23, they will meet with: 1st, 4th and 5th grade

We look forward to seeing you!
