It's Been a Great Week at Hoover!

Boys who play on Coach Wilson or Coach Lowe's teams that normally practice at Nicholson, will practice at the Andy Robinson Gym one more time on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Tuesday's practice will still be at Nicholson. The season ends with a tournament on March 5.

Just a reminder that students are expected to be at school on time everyday that school is in session unless excused. Spring break travel absences will be counted as unexcused unless prearranged 10 days before the scheduled travel dates. If you are traveling and know that your student will miss school, please contact the office for a pre-arranged absence form. *Please note that not all travel may qualify to be approved.

Notes from the Nurse

Next week is going to be a lot of fun at Hoover. National School Breakfast week kicks off on Monday March 2nd. This year’s theme is “Breakfast is out of this World.” We will be doing some fun activities throughout the week. Mrs. Galinowski and I will be dressed up on Monday to kick off the week! Each day, the class that has the highest percentage of breakfast eaten, will have bragging rights for the next day. The teacher will pick a few students from their class to walk around in our bacon, egg, and milk costumes the next morning.

The class with the highest percentage of breakfast eaten for the entire week will get breakfast with the Principal! Make sure to remind your students how important breakfast is and encourage them to eat at school this week.
