REFLECTION

On Friday, April 17th we welcomed the Grade K students of 2015-2016. Wow!!! Where does time go? As I watched these future Eagles leave their parents sides to go and sit with teachers and teacher assistants I could not help but think how this is such a pivotal time in theirs and their parents lives. As Team Highfalls we all are being entrusted to take care of our Eagles emotionally, physically, and of course academically. What a great way to serve while being served smiles and aspirations from children. Teaching is more than a job. It is more than a career. Being in education means that we have high expectations for our students and for ourselves. Our high expectations include moving forward with new ways of teaching, moving forward with digital literacy, moving forward with believing and owning that our students will grow beyond an EVASS predictor. What a great way to spend the day.......excepting and making no excuses. Highfalls Rocks and without a doubt it is The Best!!!!!

Go Team Highfalls!!!!!
