News from this week
Dear Parents,
We had donuts yesterday morning to celebrate the students' hard work...and to celebrate that Milestones testing is complete! It is hard to believe that the end of the year is almost here. We still have District Assessments and end of the year tests coming up, so we are not done learning. Hopefully the students will put as much effort into these as they did the Milestones. If they do, they should do great. We also have a lot of end of year celebrations coming up as well. Please pay close attention to the Important Dates section.
Field day is on May 17th from 8:30-10:00. Field Day t-shirt information is your child's Friday Folder. If you would like to order a shirt, please send payment in next week.
I would like to encourage students to continue working on Education Galaxy for Science and SS. This is a great way to review content area taught in the beginning of the year which will be very useful for when they take the Science and Social Studies DAs in 2 weeks. Education Galaxy is aligned to our state standards in every area, so it is a very helpful review.
If you have not returned Spring pictures and do not want to buy them, please make sure to return them as soon as possible.
I will have 2 more sessions of Morning Math help before the end of the year. They will be held the next two Tuesdays, 4/24 and 5/1 at 7:15. We have a Math Daily Grade and test on Area and Perimeter next week and we will have 2 Review Daily grades the following week.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Sabine Stoffle
