Contributions
Each year we depend on the generosity of our PMES families to help fund various school specific programs and supplies.
The Technology Contribution for 2020-2021 is helping to fund new school specific licenses that are necessary to support learning in the midst of COVID-19. To date, only 51 of our PMES families have contributed to help offset these expenses.
For our 4th and 5th graders, the Agenda Book given to each student is an important tool in helping students track assignments and be prepared for what each week holds. It also contains many helpful resource pages for students. To date, the families of only 44 of our 255 4th and 5th grade students have contributed to offset this expense.
The ability to make contributions to technology and agenda books is still available on MyPaymentsPlus. The requested contribution for agenda books is just $5.25. For technology, it is $25 per family.
If you are able to help with a contribution to either of these areas, your donation would be greatly appreciated.

Election Season
As you are aware, on November 3, 2020, Gwinnett County voters will be asked to make decisions on a number of key races and issues, including an extension of the E-SPLOST to fund capital improvements throughout the district. The school system provides objective, factual information about the E-SPLOST. A link to E-SPLOST referendum information can be found on the GCPS web page, along with other helpful resources. https://publish.gwinnett.k12.ga.us/gcps/home/public/home/content/general-info/esplost-2020-information
Digital Learners Library Book Holds Pick Up
As a reminder, we have changed the process for digital learners' library book holds pick up to streamline the process of picking up materials from the building. Please continue to bring books to return with you and have your child place holds in the Media Catalog the week before you plan to pick up based on the schedule below. Due to the pick up and in-person Media schedule, we cannot guarantee that holds placed during the week will be fulfilled until the following week. You will get an automated email for each book that is ready for pick up.
Monday- 1st Grade (Place holds by Thursday before)
Tuesday- 3rd & 4th Grade (Place holds by Thursday before)
Wednesday- Kindergarten (Place holds by Sunday before)
Thursday- 2nd Grade (Place holds by Sunday before)
Friday- 5th Grade & Self-Contained (Place holds by Sunday before)
If your child's teacher has classroom materials for you to pick up, those materials will be available at the front desk on the assigned day as well. If you need to pick up library books for siblings, you can do so on the day that is later in the week. However, if you are also picking up classroom materials, please confirm with your child's teacher that pick up on the later date will not affect the completion of assignments. If you have any questions about library book holds, please email our school library media specialist at tiffany.ocampo@gcpsk12.org.
