Work Hard - Play Hard - Love Learning
A Note from the Principal
As we reach the midway point in this school year, the challenges and uncertainties that we face continue as we enter 2021 and encounter a continued increase of local COVID-19 cases.
As a school community we continue to make plans for the safe return of our students to hybrid in-person instruction. The current health conditions, and increase in cases following the holiday break, have required another postponement of our return to a hybrid model of instruction. We all feel disappointed, as we look forward to the time when we can safely learn again in-person. The district and our PSUSD board continue to work closely with Riverside County Public Health department to plan for our safe return once conditions within our community improve. The earliest possible return date as of now looks to be Monday, March 15th. We will continue to keep you updated as things evolve, allowing for time to make the best decisions in this ever changing environment.
The Bobcat community is a strong community! I want to say thank you for all of the support you have given our students, staff, neighboring families and myself. This unprecedented year has been difficult on so many levels for all, yet the way we continue to face the challenges together has made us even stronger. Together we strive to create a positive community and learning environment for our students. If there is anything we can do to help support you, please reach out to let us know by calling the office, emailing and/or messaging us on Classdojo. Proud to be a Bobcat!

Character Traits of the Month
Now that students have been introduced to all of the blocks in the Pyramid of Success, it's time to put in them into motion and continue to implement them in our daily lives. As students strive to be their personal best, goal setting can help them in their journey towards their personal best.
A goal is an idea of the future or desired result that a person or a group of people envision, plan and commit to achieve. Help your child set a goal this month using the following steps:
Step 1: Let your child choose her “big goal.”
Step 2: Discuss the purpose of your child's goal.
Step 3: Break the big goal into smaller steps, think of steps of a ladder taking you to your goal.
Step 4: Brainstorm potential obstacles, and make a plan for how you will address them.
The following character traits are blocks for success as you work to meet your goals: hard work, enthusiasm, self-control and determination. Which of these traits will you commit to in order to find success in reaching the goal you've set?
