November 2021
Dear Parents & Guardians,
I am happy to share with you that our students, faculty and staff at Lounsberry Hollow have gotten off to a great start so far this school year!
We are now approximately one quarter of the way through the 2021-22 school year, as LH continues to bustle with activity. Some activities since the first day of school have included: Back to School Night; SCA meetings; School Picture Day; Week of Respect; Parent Teacher Conferences; and Red Ribbon Week.
Thanksgiving time is now fast approaching. Thanksgiving is a high season for gratitude, and an ideal time to reflect and remember things in our school and at home we have to be thankful for, as we work collaboratively to raise our students.
Please be reminded school will be closed on Thursday, November 4 and Friday, November 5 for annual Teacher Convention Days, as well Early Dismissal on Wednesday, November 24 and closed on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26 to celebrate Thanksgiving weekend.
In closing, please let me take this opportunity to wish all of you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving season and a healthy and rewarding December holiday season which follows soon thereafter.
Sincerely,
Dennis J. Mudrick
