Peace Be With You
The Father sent Jesus into the world to forgive our sins. Now, with the power of the Holy Spirit, the Apostles would be able to forgive sins in the name of Jesus. God still forgives our sins today through our Bishops and Priests!
God Forgives Our Sins
God forgives our sins and gives us his grace and mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation can also be called the Sacrament of Penance, the Sacrament of Confession, and the Sacrament of Conversion.
After his Resurrection, Jesus gave his Holy Spirit to his Apostles so they could forgive sins in his name. This was the beginning of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Our Bishops and our Priests carry on the mission of forgiveness Jesus gave his Apostles. When we go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we see and hear the priest, but it is really Jesus who is listening to us and forgiving our sins.
There is no sin that God won't forgive!
