- Open to anyone going into wildlife management or soil conservation
- 2 - $250 scholarships available to the student during their 2nd semester of college
- Open to students living in the counties of Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Madison, Platte, and Stanton.
- The applicant must type an essay of approximately 200 words about why they have selected their particular field of study.
- Submit 3 letters of recommendation.
- Students must submit this Personal Information Sheet, their essay, and letters of recommendation by April 15th to:

Norfolk Morning Optimists
The Norfolk Morning Optimist Club is proud to be able to offer one $500 scholarship to a deserving student from Norfolk High School, Lutheran High Northeast, or Norfolk Catholic High School. The motivation for the scholarship is to inspire and reward outstanding candidates who have demonstrated civic service responsibility in the Norfolk community. The recipient must exhibit distinctive dedication and passion for volunteerism.
The Norfolk Morning Optimist Club is committed to "Bringing Out the Best in Kids" and do our part through community service projects. We strive to live up to the Optimist name by maintaining an upbeat attitude that we pass along to the children and students we serve. This scholarship opportunity is just one of the many ways we give back to the Norfolk community.
The application will need to be completed and turned in to the counseling center by noon on April 17, 2015. Only completed applications will be considered.

Guidelines
- Open to any senior graduating student.
- This scholarship maybe used at Northeast Community College. This scholarship is valued at $400.00.
- Applicant will write a short essay on their personal plans and goals in the future. It needs to be typed, double spaced, and a minimum of at least one page.
- To apply student must submit this application (please put your student ID # for the Applicant #), transcript, and essay to the counseling center by April 17th.

James M. Cox Scholarship
The James M. Cox Scholarship are $1000 scholarships for seniors. Below is a list of parameters used in determining which applicants will be awarded scholarships:
- The student must be a 2015 high school graduate with an academic record that indicated he/she will be successful in the field of higher education. Students completing a GED are also eligible.
- The Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need, and therefore, a FAFSA must be completed.
- In addition to factors reflected in the FAFSA particular attention is paid to the parent's Adjusted Gross Income, the number of dependents on the tax return, and the total number of dependents who will be attending an institution of higher education.
- Essays and letters of recommendation are also considered.

Eastern Nebraska/Western Iowa Car Council Paul High Memorial
The Eastern Nebraska/Western Iowa Car Council's Paul High Memorial Scholarship is for up to four $300 scholarships to students planning to enroll in a Community College, Accredited Trade School, or University pursuing a career in the Automotive Industry. Applications (also available in the counseling center) should be mailed to the following address by April 15th.
