EXAMPLE
RAINCROSS
- The Raincross Bell is symbol that can be seen throughout the city of Riverside, California. Historic Mission Inn owner, Frank Miller is credited with the design. The bell of the Raincross was inspired by the mass bell of Father Junipero Serra, founder of the California missions. The double-cross is said to be an ancient Native American symbol for the dragonfly which emerged each year after the summer rains.
