Dear Elmonica Families
This week there were two informational broadcasts shared by the Beaverton School District.
In case you missed it, BSD hosted a virtual Candidate Forum last week. On May 18, voters will elect four Beaverton School Board members to four-year terms. While candidates are nominated from the Board Zone in which they live, all voters in the District vote on all positions. We currently have two candidates running in each of the four races. For more information on the candidates, visit the May 2021 School Board Election webpage.
The other broadcast is an information video about the dangers of the deadly drug fentanyl. The informational video is called Fake & Fatal Community Conversation. Since I have three older children of my own, I listened for information to prevent a tragedy from impacting my family and the families of my children's friends.
