Construction update
March 20, 2020
Dear Bel Air Families,
As we enter the last two months of the 2019-20 school year, I would like to share a few updates with you about the building construction projects. One of our biggest projects is the remodel of our current cafeteria and kitchen space. Construction has been concentrated in the front side of the cafeteria, and if you’ve been to Bel Air lately, you will notice the additional cafeteria space. We are excited about the completion of the front half of the cafeteria which we can start using April 1.
With that being said, we will be closing the back half of the cafeteria, which includes the kitchen. This means breakfast and lunch food will be delivered each day for the last two months of school. The menu will include Domino’s pizza and pre-packaged sandwiches. We will continue to meet the needs of students with special dietary needs. As always, students are welcome to bring a lunch from home.

Breakfast
Breakfast will be served in front half of the cafeteria. Students can follow these directions:
- Students who ride a bus to school will enter the school through door four (first and second grade students) or door three (third, fourth and fifth grade students). Students should hang up their backpacks/belongings and walk directly to the cafeteria.
- Students who are dropped off by a parent will continue to enter door six and proceed directly to the cafeteria along with their belongings.
In advance of these changes, I thank you for your flexibility and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I wish your family an enjoyable end to the school year!
Sincerely,
Dawn Wiegand, Principal
