A Message From Dr. Ricks
Parents and Friends,
It is hard to believe that we are finishing up our 5th week of this 3rd 9 weeks grading period; the time is simply flying by and it will be summer before we know it. What a wonderful time we had last Friday celebrating with our students and families. The First Grade 100 Days Fashion Show was delightful, Parent Lunch was packed, and our annual Krewe of Zoo Pep Rally was fantastic! This is one of the highlights of our year, and our Kindergarten classes went all out with their costumes, throws, and floats. Every year is more impressive than the last.
The start of the second semester marks the time for the reenrollment process to begin. By now, you should have received your packets in the mail; please call the office if you have questions or concerns. Packets are due February 28th. Baseball and softball practice has started in earnest, and games will begin within the next week or so. I'm looking forward to watching our Gators in action.
Our Shoot for the Moon Gala Committee is working tirelessly to bring you a first class party. Many, many thanks to Jennifer Parker, Amie Smith, Breanna Young, Kim Leija, Ashley Burkett, Rhonda Neal, Meredith Smith, Tiffany Huffer and many others for their time and creative energy in making this such a special event.
A special thank you to Katie Moreland and her team for their great work for our Gator House. We sold over 600 medallions, and the crowd was electric. It was such a wonderful night of Mardi Gras fun for our Grace Family!

Feb 14 Baseball/Softball Bunt-a-Thon We have 55 baseball and softball players currently on rosters at GES. Each player will raise money for 100 pitched balls that they will bunt. Not only will these funds raised cover their fees, but also it will be a great way to raise funds and help to improve a basic baseball/softball skill. We will have food, drinks, music and fellowship so bring the whole family and cheer on your bunter.
TENNIS
Tennis schedules have been sent to the parents. If you did not get one please let us know. There are many skilled tennis players this year, and we anticipate a lot of competition!
Gator Greenery Grand Movie Party!!
